Found in the drafts folder of the late Francis Wayland Thurston, of Boston

The above listed were the contents of the issue I read, and now I have placed them all in my bookmarks folder, along with all other abominable pieces of my browser history. With it shall go this record of mine — this test of my own sanity, wherein I have descended into the very mouth of erotic madness itself. I have looked upon all that the universe has to hold of pornographic horror, and even the skies of spring and flowers of summer I can no longer look upon without the singular thought: gaaaay.

But I do not think it shall be long before I return to these entrancing pages. As so many others before me have gone, so shall I know. I know too much, and the issue is still live.

Shousetsu Bang*Bang still lives, too, again in that foul and dreary void we call the internet. Though oft in the past it has seemed to sink beneath the waves, lost for all eternity, its ministers on earth still bellow and prance and proclaim its glories from glowing screens in lonely places. It is not trapped eternal within the abyss, but rises now with its newest issue, calling forth queer terrors until the world screams with frenzy and delight. Who knows the end? What has risen may sink, and what has sunk may rise (if you know what I mean). A rainbow of spine-chilling monstrosities waits and dreams in these pages, and news of its coming spreads across the tottering platforms of social media. A time will come — and that time is upon us now!

If I do not survive this issue, may others herald its arrival and leave comments for the creators, as a warning to others of what mind-bending, jaw-dropping, not-safe-for-work mysteries lurk within its borders. Alas, I fear it is too late for me. I feel my mouse pointer drifting slowly, inexorably toward the links, as with trepidation and rapture I once more descend—

(For summaries, authors’ notes, and more, we would usually tell you to see this issue’s entry on the Shousetsu Bang*Bang wiki. In the interim, however, please visit the relevant thread at the SSBB Bulletin Boards for similar content.)
