There’s something so charming about the moment you’ve chosen to capture here, like a candid photo. I love the way it feels like they’re both in motion.
Mistletoe and snow~ So pretty :) I really like how the rough, sketchy lines are still there too <3 just adds to that candid special moment captured ever so briefly~ To me it looks like the one character is going for a kiss while the other hasn't completely finished talking/getting the mistletoe above their heads~ The beauty of imperfection
I love the little details on this, like the gesture of the hand holding the mistletoe and the golden earring. And I find the dry marker look of the text really compelling. Beautiful!
I’d like to take a moment to appreciate the color choices here, like how the black lettering leads the eye to the right character’s hair and then down to the equally-dark slacks, or the way those pops of warm color in the left character’s hair and jewelry pull out the highlights in the sprig of mistletoe (and just make him look nice and toasty against the chilly background!). Love how the typeface chosen goes so nicely with the gesture lines used, too!
