The colors on this are great, as is the little joke with the time literally being nine minutes to five on the clock, but what I like most about this art is the contrast between those characters! The shapes on them both are such skillful illustration, being strong and rounded on our slacks-wearing subject and more lanky and angular on the bejeansed imp clinging to the clock hand. And my goodness, the eye contact between them! I’d gladly read more about these fellas any day, and I think this is a splendid piece to show off the issue as a whole. Fantastic work!
