This was amazing. AMAZING. It was understated, but the sad hopelessness was so so real that I teared up a little, which was an odd contrast to the hot like burning moments of dirty talk/teenage boy smack talk. and then there was the end which was completely worth it. I loved this. (written for the cowboys/western issue and is set in bumfuck, colorado and contains not only homophobia but some anti-antisemitism as well. yeah it's a fucked up little town. I especially loved how in the story it was specified that you didn't need college to get the fuck out.)
