This is a signup for the April 25 issue; the text deadline for the issue is Tuesday, April 12 and the art deadline is Saturday, April 23.

Please reply to this post if you plan to submit a story or artwork for this issue, indicating whether you are interested in contributing to the issue as an author and/or artist, and whether or not you are looking for a collaborative partner. Artists offering to illustrate should provide links to past works as examples of style. Contributors wishing to collaborate with others should respond directly to comments here or through other indicated channels. As always, you don’t have to sign up to participate, and you’re not creating an unbreakable contract by signing up, but it’s always a good idea!

This issue’s theme is Coming Around Again: That porn you like is going to come back in style.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR ISSUE 96: In some ways, this is a normal issue, where we take all the new stories and art made specifically for this theme of reincarnations, revivals, revamps, and returns — so if you’re inspired for that, go for it and turn in a completely new piece!

However, because this continues to be a much-requested theme, since we last did it all the way back in 2017, we’re declaring this issue another a redo/remix/rewrite opportunity. If you’ve had a particular story/artwork run in SSBB before and really wished you could give it a good overhaul, this is the issue for you! Give that piece a second chance with a fresh coat of paint, a few plotline tweaks, or a whole brand-new happy ending.

Because we’re allowing revamps of things from all previous issues, if a piece has been submitted before, it is not subject to usual length/comic restrictions. That is to say, the usual rules of a 25k word limit and no long comics do not apply, so long as what you’re submitting is a new version of something that’s been submitted before.

You may also remix someone else’s story or artwork — but only with the original creator’s permission.
