  1. Alright, Mr. Patchwork there is just needlessly hot?? All the different skin tones make him incredibly striking and I LOVE the hair and the mismatched eyes. What a fascinating take on reanimated bodies too — the fully detached limbs that can still move are really, really cool.

  2. I’m always a fan of glasses being knocked askew of falling off or something – it’s a great detail! The colors here are also gorgeous. Greens and violets, I think, are very in season.

Ooh I like that detached foot on the groin there – certain if one has detachable limbs then why not put it to good use!

  3. Stepping!!! I love how you executed it with a disembodied foot!!! A real nice intersection of body horror and sexiness. Oh how the tables have turned for this scientist but hey, definitely they can conclude that their grisly experiment was a success. The lighting on this is so good, cold and almost clinical.

  4. wow what a fab original take on a Frankenstein’s monster look — I love the detached but animate limbs, and the two-tone hairstyle which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before in similar creature designs but is such a fun idea!

  5. The Mr. Stitch style of crazy-quilt reanimated amalgam has always been near and dear to my heart, so of course I got a kick out of seeing someone put their own spin on it! The different textures, in addition to length and color, of the construct’s hair are such a nice touch. The posing of the meat-stumps to clearly show that yes, those limbs have popped off of their own accord, and yes, this is science gone terribly wrong (or right, I mean, I’m not judging) is also a pitch-perfect match for the tone of the issue, riding the line of discomfort and eroticism in that way horror does so well. I also like the lighting effects you went for here, balanced with a very subtle purple in the opposite corner; it gives the whole scene a subtly unnatural cast goes super well with the subject matter.

It’s also pretty cool comparing this to your much earlier work and seeing how your techniques have evolved; welcome back, and hope to see more from you in the future!

  6. hell yeah hell yeah hell yeah

ok the lighting is beautiful here. i adore the scientist’s face. the whole thing is just (chefs kiss) so good

  7. The lighting looks soo good on this! That bright green shadow edge really adds so much. I love the ambiguity of their facial expressions- not quite able to parse if this is willing or not, but it certainly is hot.
