I’ve described this elsewhere as “the platonic ideal of an S2B2 cover” and I still stand by that statement. This piece has everything: strong lettering, a clear visual identity, plentiful attractive characters, some fantastic color choices, and an overall eye-catching composition with a mighty handsome cowboy front and center. It’s worth selling as a print on its own even without the zine connection, and as someone who pours buckets of blood, sweat, and tears into the project every year, I don’t say that lightly! Thank you for kicking things off JUST right, and I hope you’ll darken these doors again sooner than later.
