Summary[edit]

A reality-show robotics engineer tries to tell his demolition-loving costar how he feels. Failure is always an option.

The last day Stacey walked into Jules' workshop with bags under his eyes and a new tattoo was simultaneously the best and the worst day of Garrett's life.

From http://femmealunettes.dreamwidth.org/1981825.html: "a story about two guys working on a Mythbusters-type show, and the guy who makes robots is secretly in love with the pyrotechnician. The secret crush becomes not so much a secret, and every effort he makes to finally tell the guy he likes him fails hilariously."

From pinboard.in: "Sweet hilarious geek love story with robots and explosives and hilarious failings at grand electronic gestures. There's garret, who's the adorable geeky robotics engineer, stacey, the super hot super awesome slightly manic pyrotechnician whose girlfriend just dumped him. again. and with cory (awesome bff geek girl) theyre the truth crashers trio"

Authors' Notes[edit]

Okay, obviously this story is a huge HUGE work of nonsense behind a veil so thin I won't even dignify it by identifying the source. But suffice it to say, I love that source material, and I just as much loved holding beeblebabe's hand and jumping off into a strange new world -- which is very much like its real-life counterpart on the surface, but diverges pretty significantly the deeper down it gets.
