Summary[edit]

From fail-fandomanon.dreamwidth.org: "Told as a radio story with the main character as an interviewee, This American Life-style - Alex Ross is a dentist whose hobby is short wave radio. In 2000, he picks up on a cordless phone conversation in his building - a guy having phone sex. He listens to the whole thing and jerks off; and he keeps tuning in, all the time, eventually falling in love with this guy through these overheard conversations."

External Reviews[edit]

  • fairyninjas.wordpress.com: "This one was a clever spoof of This American Life, which tells a radio love story. I thought it was really good, and did a great job of imitating the *ahem* source material. “Irene Steele’s” voice was spot-on, for example. I did think they could have had the second guy ‘on the show,’ but I guess…he didn’t want to be on public radio."
